The editors of boraszportal.hu held their major Bull’s Blood (Bikavér) blind test on 28 February. A total of 42 items have been entered, supplied by producers from Szekszárd and Eger.

The panel of 24 judges, comprising of employees of the paper and invited guests, assessed the wines and produced the list of the best ones.

Judges used the 100 point assessment sheet, which was adjusted to quiet wines and used by the Hungarian Wine Academy. Assessment was based on clarity, color, technical precision of the aroma, intensity and quality, technical precision, intensity, durability and quality of fragrances and on general harmony of the wines.

The panel of judges, divided into two groups, assessed 21-21 different items. On the basis of their assessment, the following wines reached the TOP 12.
