Result of Carton Hungaricum

The result of the Cégér – Ab Ovo tender, published by the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice and the Ministry of Regional Development, has been announced.

The aim of the tender is to find small Hungarian wineries which produce only limited quantities of wines but in world-class quality. The combination of wine and arts will draw the attention of the world to Hungary.

The Carton Hungaricum (Wine Box) – in accordance with the decision of the judges – will contain the following, award-winning wines:

Ódon – Juhfark 2009,
Maurus – Ezerjó 2012,
Fanni Kertje – 5 puttonyos Tokaji Aszú 2001
Merfelsz – Néró rosé 2013
Iváncsics – Merlot 2011
Dániel – Crew cuvée 2007

The wine box will be introduced to the general public in June, in New York.

Later it will be presented all over the world, at Hungarian embassies, cultural institutions, wine festivals, exhibitions and fairs.
