Best Hungarian wines in 2013
The Gault&Millau Restaurant Guide Hungary 2014 has been published recently, in which critics assessed not only hotels and restaurants, but also wine cellars and wines.
One of the world’s most influential gastronomic guide – Gault & Millau – has been published in Paris since 1961. The magazine, which provides very professional and strict assessments, influenced strongly and imposed reforms on the culinary and hospitality industry of the entire world.
Similar to the Michelin Guide, assessment is based on points awarded on a scale of 1 to 20 – similar to the system used in French schools – where 20 points is the theoretical maximum.
Gault & Millau Hungary – unlike similar publishers – awards points based on assessments of independent, anonym judges. Assessments do not depend on any specific style, judges may provide verdicts on the basis of classical or modern approach.
