Bussay The Cellar, located in the SE part of County Zala, along the triple border of Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia, was established in 2004. The vineyard enjoys the extraordinary micro-climate of the Mura River Valley. The first pinot-noir grape-vines were planted in 2007; before this time only and exclusively grapes for white wines were processed in the vineyard. Main grape varieties: Italian Riesling (olaszrizling), Rhine Riesling (rajnai rizling), Traminer (tramini) and Gray Friar (szurkebarat).

Szeleshat

Szeleshat Szeleshat Vineyard is located in the Szeleshat Field, hence its name, and covers 26 ha within the Szekszard Region. This field runs along the southernmost crest of the Szekszard Hills. Szeleshat Field is an approximately 300 m wide hilltop area running in from north to south. The climate of this region is sub-Mediterranean. The soil is deep loess with high calcium level. The estate is owned by the Szekretar and Krajcsovszky families. They are committed to producing extra special red wines with rich bouquet.

Takler

Photo: www.takler.com The Takler family deals with grapes growing and wine growing since the 1700s. Their present family enterprise is continuously being developed since 1987. At present they are farming on nearly 62 hectares. In the range of their wine cellar besides the wines of world-breeds: Merlot, Cabernet franc and Sauvignon they put extra emphasis on red wines typical for the region, the until today curiosity: Kadarka, the more and more popular Kékfrankos, furthermore the couve of the two previously mentioned breeds, the Szekszard bikaver. Besides red wines they also produce fresh rosé and southern style white wines.

Szaszi Cellar

Photo: http://www.szaszipince.hu/ Endre Szászi worked in the Badacsonyi Winery. Later, following the years spent as wine dealer, he settled down on Saint George-mountain in 1999, and established a wine cellar.
From the beginning, wines are made here in eco-farming and without using chemicals. Since the first bottling, his wife draws the labels printed at home. Their wines ferment in metal tanks, and then maturing in old wattle and oak barrels during the winter, before bottling. They harvested grapes with ‘bio’ grade in 2003 for the first time. The total area of their plantations is roughly 20 hectare.

IKON

Photo: http://www.ikonboraszat.hu IKON Winery is situated in Radpuszta, near Balatonlelle among exceptionally beautifull hills, sout of lake Balaton. The vineyards of Radpuszta had belonged to the Benedictine Abbey of Tihany for centuries. One of the founders of the winery is the well-known enologist Janos Konyari, whose expertise is the guarantee of the high standard of the wines. Currently, IKON Winery comprises 39 hectares of the following sort: Cabernet Saugvinon, cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, pinot Noir. Whites wines are made with the cooperation between the winery and local vine-growers.
